RESEARCH WORKSHOP - This other cool area of study and work called "Research"

Research needs to be demystified, it needs to be introduced to undergraduate students as early as at first year level. The IEOM UJ Student Chapter held its second workshop where it made research look cool. Exciting presentations where made to students registered for various qualifications at the University of Johannesburg on Monday 13 June 2017.

The need for students to embrace research (academic, scientific, business...) is evident and can be seen in the level of innovation a country boasts. South Africa is currently ranked 54 on the Global Innovation Index and considering the efforts the country is making in terms of University postgraduate output, the IEOM UJ Student Chapter is taking the initiative to introduce research at the lowest level in tertiary institution, starting with the University of Johannesburg.
